The locals have another name for this waterfall - Bantimurung II Waterfall. It's called that because Parangloe Waterfall flows from the Bantimurung waterfall in the Maros district. With a height of 20 meters and a structure resembling a ladder, this multilevel waterfall is truly a sight to behold. The Parangloe Waterfall is a hidden gem in the heart of nature that deserves to be promoted more by the local government. Although the location and terrain are extreme, the natural beauty that awaits visitors is truly worth the effort. To get there, visitors must embark on a 45-minute to 1-hour hike through rocky terrain and steep paths. If traveling from downtown Makassar, it's about 35 km away and the route goes through Gowa - Malino until arriving in the Bili-bili area. Once there, visitors can ask locals for directions to the hidden Parangloe Waterfall. Along the way, tourists can enjoy breathtaking views of the quiet and serene wilderness, but must be careful on the steep and winding dirt road. 

Safety is a top priority for visitors, so it's best to plan a visit during the dry season, as the track can be dangerous during the rainy season, and water discharge will be high. Upon arrival, visitors must pay an entrance fee of IDR 5,000 per person and a cleaning fee of Rp 3,000 per person around the Parangloe Waterfall. 

With the entrance fee paid, visitors can immerse themselves in the tranquil atmosphere and natural beauty of Parangloe Waterfall. The sound of the water gurgling, the fresh air, and the picturesque views of the cliffs and rocks surrounding the waterfall will make visitors forget all about their fatigue.
