The Emerald National Park, which is 100 to 200 meters above sea level, is a biodiversity hotspot. The park is the final line of defense for the areas around since it is surrounded by peat swampland. Because this national park is the only source of water for the area, there is a massive basin in the earth that contains all the water flows. It is between one and three meters deep.
Emerald is the name of the green area that contains the most natural beauty.
Due to the presence of swamp forests like Bengku, Rengas, and Pisang-Banana, it serves as a habitat for animals including Sumatran tigers, Red bears, arowanas, Belida, and different snake species. There are also 38 different species of birds, 12 of which are protected species including hornbills and herons.
This national park has a special quality. Big Island Lake and Beruk Lake are two interior lakes that embellish the lovely garden environment. There are four other tiny lakes in the Big Lake with the names Pulau Besar, Pulau Tengah, Pulau Bungsu, and Pulau Hanyut.
Drift Island is special because, as its name suggests, it may move about at any moment. It was given this name because it reflects the idea that it might drift anywhere. There is also a refuge for huge bats on this island.
