The Exotic of Megalithic and Nature of Lore Lindu

Wallacea's distinctive biodiversity, along with the cultural history of the Besoa Valley, the only national park with an old megalithic monument, distinguishes this park. Relics include palindo half-body figures embedded in the ground, megalithic implements, stone slabs (Tutu'na) in the Napu valley, and enormous jambangan (Kalamba) in the Bada valley. This immerses visitors in a primordial environment.

This national park contains 217 hectares of land with a topography that ranges from 300 meters above sea level to 2,610 meters above sea level. The mountains and valleys are overrun with tropical forests, hills, and plant-covered terrain.

Lore Lindu is the only place in the world where you can see Sulawesi birds.

Visitors should go to Lake Tambing if they wish to observe birds. At a height of 1,700 meters above sea level, the lake is concealed by a hill. Additionally, of its 270 bird species, 30% are native to Sulawesi. Visitors are required to see the birds since they cannot be found everywhere in this habitat. Cockatoo, Enggang, Pecuk Snake, Maleo, Julang Sulawesi, and other animals are all within.
